2009 SMVFD
Photography Fundraiser

The Department’s Volunteer Division would like to say THANK YOU to the residents of St. Marys for your past support of their fundraising efforts. Your contributions have funded several equipment purchases and many hours of training for our volunteer personnel and we are very grateful for your steadfast commitment to the Fire Department.

In the past, we have partnered with an outside company to assist us with our Photo Fundraising Drive. We are doing things a little different this year. This letter and the enclosed donation card serve as your invitation to help support the St Marys Fire Department and to receive a free family portrait. With this new approach we will maximize the value generated from your contribution and we will also ensure that 100% of the proceeds related to the Fundraising Drive stay in our local community.

To achieve our goal we are asking that each household in our service area please donate $25.00. Your support for this worthwhile effort will be appreciated. We are asking for 100% participation by all residents with this fundraising endeavor. Please remember, this is your Fire Department. The dedicated volunteers of the St. Marys Fire Department help provide the emergency services the citizen’s desire and deserve. The generous donations from our citizens make this possible. Tax deductible receipts are available for Cash and Check payments. Please make checks payable to: S.M.V.F.A.

As a way of saying “Thank You” for your support we have made special arrangements with Alissa Williams at Alissa’s Masterpiece Photography here in St. Marys to provide each supporter with a certificate good for a free family photo sitting and a free 10x13 portrait. I would like to thank you in advance for your support of our wonderful Volunteer Fire Fighters. For more information, or to become a volunteer, please visit our website at www.stmarysfd.com.
