School Tours

Tours of your local fire station are available upon request!

Station tours last approximately 30-45 minutes and include viewing the fire engine and fire fighting equipment, as well as talking to the firefighters about their job and fire safety.

The Tour can be adjusted to suit visitors of all ages from pre-K to adults.
Group Tours and Individual Tours Welcome!
All children receive their very own red fire hat!
Fire Station tours may be scheduled Monday through Sunday.
Fire Stations remain "in-service" during tours. Fire companies may need to respond to emergencies at any time. If they do, it will be necessary for the tour to end and your group to exit the station. Please keep this in mind when visiting.
Given the unpredictability of the station's events and calls, it is possible your event may need to be rescheduled, you will be contacted in advance.

The St. Marys Fire Department can also visit your classroom or daycare! Fire Fighters will visit the location and speak with the children about fire safety, fire prevention, and fire fighting in general. All children will be able to tour the fire engine on site. Classroom visits last about 45 minutes and can be tailored based on your curriculum needs.
